Growing up, I was captivated by the bold imagination of comics and films, where brightly costumed heroes performed incredible feats. But what has always stayed with me is the idea that true heroism isn’t just about strength—it’s about restraint, compassion, and the ability to prevent chaos rather than simply react to it. In Marvel’s Spider-Man A Soft Serve Turneth Away Wrath", I wanted to explore that quieter, often overlooked side of heroism. Instead of another clash of force, I imagined a moment of de-escalation: Spider-Man, known as much for his heart as his agility, attempting to calm the Hulk—not with violence, but with something disarmingly human… a simple ice cream cone. Around them, the aftermath of conflict lingers—the Scorpion already subdued, smoke and tension hanging in the air—but here, even in the midst of turmoil, there’s an unexpected gesture of peace. Set high above New York City, this scene reflects my belief that being a hero is not just about saving the day—it’s about how you choose to do it.
