The Gallery's Perspective
You can almost feel the heat radiating from the canvas—brilliant oranges and molten golds give this collage an immediate, energetic presence. Concentric discs, some punctuated with jewel-like highlights and a single pearlescent center, read like planets and suns caught in motion; their layered patterns and tiny dots create a lively contrast against the darker, marbled background. Small star shapes and glittered accents add playful sparkle, while the radiating spikes and scalloped rings suggest impact and movement without becoming frantic. The overall effect is celebratory rather than chaotic: a composed, joyful commotion of color and texture that rewards quiet looking. It’s the kind of piece that brightens a room with warmth and a sense of wonder, asking viewers to find new details each time they return to it.

About Cosmic Firestorm Wall Art by Robert Swedroe
Image Notes When it comes to creating collage art, I approach it in a surreal way. I don't like to dictate what the viewer is supposed to see. Instead, I aim to draw them in and encourage them to discover new things each time they view the piece. One of my works, Cosmic Energy from 2010, is a part of the Celestial Series. This piece captures the intense energy of planets and stars colliding in space. The primary color is red, with various shades of yellow and orange creating a fiery atmosphere. I used jewel-encrusted discs and circular shapes to represent the planets colliding with glitter-embossed stars set against a black and red background. The result is a truly out-of-this-world collage that captures the essence of a cosmic firestorm.
