Princess And The Frog Dr. Facilier Sinister Shadow Man

NOTES: Oozing with Southern charm and deceptive promises, magical, mystical Dr. Facilier is the deceitful voodoo man who masks his dark purposes with an underhanded pledge to make dreams come true. Hes musical, hes threatening, hes tall, hes lean, hes thin, observes supervising animator Bruce Smith of this versatile villain. He can be very sweet. Hes handsome. Hes graceful. And I think all that stuff is, in very contemporary animation anyway, rare to see in that type of villain. Plussed with pewter and a glass bead topping his sinister staff, this shadowy figure is being a honored as a truly classic baddie, for Dr. Facilier is the 2011 release in the scary-but-sought-after Disney Villains series. Numbered Limited Edition 500 Disney Villains Series Plussed with Pewter Legs, Pewter Feather, Pewter Hand and Staff, Glass Bead on Staff

WDCC Disney Classics bio

WALT DISNEY CLASSICS FIGURINES - The Classics Collection started in 1992 with three scenes, Bambi, Cinderella, and Fantasia's Sorcerer Apprentice. Many other series have since been introduced. Some figurines are limited, and some have been retired. Some of these figurines have risen high on the secondary market. The figurines are made of porcelain, and the process is similar to that use to make Hummel figurines. Individual pieces are molded, put together, and fired in an oven. Then they are painted and fired again. Each figurine is marked on the bottom, signifying the year it was produced. The marks represent significant milestones in Disney history. The figurines with the first year mark are usually the most desirable.
