“My philosophy is simple - paint what you like and know. I find inspiration in everything that surrounds me…My art is presently a manifestation of my love of quiet abandonment in close observation of nature. I enjoy singling out common and not so common objects and presenting them in a formal way, thus giving the viewer a heightened awareness of objects in my environment and hopefully stimulating the richness of their own surroundings. People often miss the beauty around them. I like to help them see it more fully through my paintings. The viewer is invited to share my way of seeing. My hope is that he or she will enjoy my work.”
