A live, searching energy defines this small-scale sculpture: a young Huron hunter stands alert atop a ledge of textured rock while a shimmering cascade of water arcs beside him. The contrast between the hunter’s bronze-warm figure and the translucent suggestion of falling water gives the piece an almost theatrical tension — the solid, tactile presence of the human form set against a flowing, luminous element that seems to move.
