For example, the license plate on the taxi reads #83, the number of Marvel's first Thor comic. The number above the door to the right of The Destroyer, 1962, is the year that the first Thor comic was published. The awning behind The Destroyer, Foster's, bears the name of Thor's love, Jane Foster. Can you spot the neon sign says Asgard - a tribute to Thor's home? The newspaper on the ground, blown by the battle, is The Daily Bugle, a fictional New York City newspaper that appears in many Marvel comics.
