About C3PO Sculpture

C-3PO first appeared in 1977 with the release of Star Wars: A New Hope, becoming one of the saga’s most recognizable characters from the very beginning. Created by Anakin Skywalker and programmed to master more than six million forms of communication, this protocol droid has been part of the galactic story since its origins, moving between diplomacy, constant worry, and an unintentionally humorous tone that made it unforgettable. This porcelain version stays true to his iconic golden silhouette. The metallic plates along his body, the circular details on his torso, and the central section with exposed cables are endered with a clean and precise finish. His slightly raised hand evokes those familiar moments when C-3PO tries to stop a situation before it spirals out of control. The design preserves the traits that made the character famous and brings them into the world of Star Wars icons crafted in porcelain.

Lladro was founded in 1953 when Juan, Jose, and Vicente, three brothers born of local farmers and endowed with great artistic talent, formed a small family company in the Valencian village of Almacera, Spain. Since then, Lladro has undergone an amazing metamorphosis from an artisan workshop to a huge firm of international scope enjoying continual growth. The company management has remained in the hands of the Lladro family, the owners of the firm, since its inception. The creative team started out by adapting styles from past eras, but it was not long before certain characteristics appeared that would soon shape what was to become the unique Lladro style.
