Wrigley Field, 2016
$4,850.00
A gentle hush seems to settle over this Parisian square, as if the city has paused to watch the last of the spring blossoms fall. The pale dome of Sacré-Cœur rises quietly in the background while café tables, dressed in white linens, stand on a rain-glossed pavement that mirrors the bloom-strewn scene. Kondakova’s delicate hand-signed serigraph on black paper keeps the palette crisp yet soft: rosy florals and warm shopfront reds and ochres are balanced by cool greys of stone and sky, giving the composition a comforting twilight calm. Small human touches—a couple chatting under an awning, a lone figure by a doorway—add intimacy without crowding the view. Overall, the work feels like a remembered evening in Paris, where light, reflection, and blossom combine to create a peaceful, slightly nostalgic mood that lingers after you step away.
