A late-afternoon hush seems to linger over this Parisian square — the kind of moment when the day eases into evening and the café tables hold a promise more than a presence. Kondakova’s palette balances warm awnings and glowing shopfronts against a clear, cobalt sky, and those saturated colors give the scene a gently theatrical, storybook quality. Notice the way the cobblestones and empty chairs suggest recent activity, while the lamplight and window glows already begin to soften edges and invite intimacy. Small details — the pastry shop sign, the posters clustered on the kiosk, the folded napkins on the round tables — make the place feel lived-in without crowding it. Overall, the print offers a comforting, familiar Paris: sociable yet quiet, a place where the ordinary rituals of coffee, conversation and pastry feel reassuringly suspended for a breath of time.
