About Northern Social By Kyle Sims Giclee On Paper Signed And Numbered

Northern Social by Kyle Sims Giclee on Paper Signed & Numbered

Kyle Sims paints the natural world he knows so well. During the mating season, bull elks fight to fend off other males intruding on their herd. Perhaps in this secluded meadow, with spectacular scenery surrounding it, the herd will find protection as they stop to forage whatever food may be found in preparing for the harsh season to come.

Kyle Sims

Kyle was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on June 12th, 1980. He is one of two sons born unto Jon and Beth Sims with his sibling named Blake, two years the younger. Kyle s training with the arts began very early, but with no formal regimen in place. His talent was recognized and encouraged by his parents from the beginning. He had very good art teachers growing up and by good, he means that they taught him fundamentals and principals of art, but had the ability to let him go with things when they saw the chance rather than forcing him to do what they think is good. Kyle continued along in his development as not only a child, but with his art. He enjoyed athletics, including cross country, basketball, and track. But it was around the age of 13 that he can remember having a strong interest building towards painting animals in particular.
