| Junkyard Moses Giclee on Canvas |
Notes:
Created from raw earth and pouring rain, then forged by thunder and lightning, a band of gladiators converge and collide inside a junkyard landscape. Using discarded materials for armor, the likes of hubcaps, colanders, pots and pans, and a rock for the ball, these junkyard gladiators take shape and begin to play the game that they were born to play, the game of football. The offensive line parts like the Red Sea, the full back grabs the rock and dashes toward the endzone, leading his team to victory.

Most recently, Nelson created the album cover artwork for late pop singer Michael Jackson’s first posthumously released album entitled, MICHAEL.
Although Nelson works in a variety of styles, he always retains a sense of identity and focus in his work. Nelson’s works are instantly recognizable by the emotion and strength of his varied subject matter. “In my work, I aim to show the strength and integrity of the human being and the human spirit.” |
