For me, this piece carries a rather personal tone. Not long ago, I had the opportunity to put my trust in someone to do something for me that I could not do for myself. I think that in the humblest of circumstances, it is then that we can receive a small glimpse of what our Savior has done for us.
Having paid the ransom that we could not pay, Jesus assumed the role of our Advocate and Intercessor on our behalf. With new understanding, I had hopes of conveying, even with a simple gesture, my newfound insight.
It helps me to remember how much I rely on His mercy, and my hope that someday, I will be found at His right hand.
