A dazzling addition to any collection of holiday village miniatures, this animated carriage race combines lifelike realism with whimsical, fanciful charm. The old-fashioned setting features a fenced track filled with miniature horses and carriages in earnest competition. A realistic scoreboard--complete with miniature lights and a tiny clock--stands ready to declare the day's winners from the sidelines, while lit lampposts, waving flags, and grand staircases add to the merriment. Additional highlights include two concession stands with red- and white-striped canopies and a regal red base with gold embellishments. Accompanied by 15 Christmas carols and 15 year-round favorites, the lively scene makes a wonderfully nostalgic and delightfully timeless collectible. The music box can also go in a child's room when the holidays are over so the fun never ends. An A/C adapter comes included. Scaled to complement other Gold Label World's Fair and village pieces for those who want to build a complete display, the UL-listed carriage race miniature measures approximately 12-1/2 inches long by 15-1/2 inches wide by 5-1/2 inches tall.
