Wedding Couple by Connie Haley Ne’Qwa, in the Mandarin language, is the term for this centuries-old artistic tradition of reverse painting on the inside of glass. This technique creates a brilliance and luster that is not attainable with standard painting methods. Through a small opening in each ornament, the artist uses delicate brush strokes to hand-paint on the inside of mouth-blown glass. From outlining to shading to color application, all work is painstakingly done in freehand. The Art work was originally created by Connie Haley.
Connie Haley has been successfully creating art for product for more than a decade. She and her staff have designed for more than 50 manufacturers in a variety of product categories including stationery, greeting cards, giftware, tabletop, home decor and more. A native of mid Michigan, Connie enjoys living in East Texas with her husband and two children. A graduate of Michigan State University's advertising department, she founded her own advertising agency which thrived in its local market for many years. But a more creative, less structured artistic outlet called. First as an agent for other artists and photographers, Connie transitioned into the world of art licensing. She eventually began developing her own distinctive art collections, and made them available for licensing. She has successfully designed hundreds of products, and is daily thinking about what she could do next. Connie shares, "We listen to our clients and do our best to provide exactly what they need within budget and before the deadline. We study the trends and the markets. But more than that, as the primary designer at Haley Art and Design, my joy is creating beautiful art and bringing original, creative ideas to my clients products!"
